| REPRIEVE APPEAL: Send a Seasonal Card to someone on Death Row
Please send a card to someone on Death Row this festive season, and make a real difference this holiday season.
There can be no doubt that this is the hardest time of the year to be separated from the ones you love. For instance, the reality of Christmas Day for those imprisoned on death row is one of isolation, as they will once again spend 23 hours locked up in their cells.
Whilst the rest of the world goes about preparing for the holidays with shopping, cooking and all manner of festive fun, the sense of separation felt by those on Death Row could not be more extreme. Any contact with the outside world will help bridge this gap. As a result, we are asking that all Reprieve’s supporters spare some time to send a card to as many of these people and help shine a little light into their dark cells this festive season.
