Jane Pickering, Operations Manager
Jane Pickering is joining Reprieve in April 2008 as Operations Manager. Jane holds a degree in Philosophy and Politics from Manchester University and has undertaken several Quaker trainings exploring alternative approaches to conflict resolution and peace-building. She has worked as an NGO manager for the last 10 years, developing experience in organizational capacity development and project management in a multi regional context. Jane previously worked on resource development (both statutory and voluntary) at Penal Reform International and the UK Refugee Council. She has also held executive and non executive posts in various smaller NGOs in the UK, juggling fundraising with high level advocacy on behalf of the organizations, financial and human resource management, office facilities co-ordination and reporting to stakeholders. Jane will manage Reprieve’s London office on a day-to-day basis while providing additional expertise to the resource development teams and the directors.
