Florida Ends Moratorium on Death Penalty

On Tuesday, Florida’s new Governor, Charlie Crist, signed a death warrant ending the moratorium on capital punishment issued by the state late last year. The execution of Mark Dean Schwab is scheduled to take place in November bringing an end to the halt on executions which was adopted after the bungled execution of Angel Nieves Diaz in December.
